Telephone, Online Counselling & Covid-19

Working online with a therapist during the period of social-distancing and self-isolation resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic can provide you with an effective means of accessing therapy whilst ensuring compliance with government and Public Health England guidelines.

I am now able to offer confidential telephone counselling and online sessions.

This is an established and researched way of offering counselling.  It is particularly useful if you find accessibility a barrier to gaining access to counselling.

It is not preferable for everyone, but please don't hesitate to contact me if you wish to explore this further.

It works in a very similar way to face to face counselling, with regular weekly 50 minute sessions via Zoom on a laptop, computer, or tablet with a working microphone and camera. You will also need a private space where you will not be interrupted or overheard and preferably not in your bed, as well as a good internet connection.

 

I only offer counselling to those living within the UK at present.
